Completed in 1871, this wood Howe truss bridge served the railroad until the 1890s. There are two 140-foot spans and approach trestles totaling about 840 feet. There is room on the layout to build this bridge to its scale length. Since doing so might overpower the rest of the railroad, this probably won't be done.

The Stanislaus River valley-to-be can be seen in the right-hand photo. The bridge approaches will start at the extreme left of the picture with the two Howe truss spans being in the center. The bridge will end about halfway around the curve at the far end.
